Governance case workflows

Learn how SentinelAI coordinates alerts, findings, remediation, evidence posture, SLA deadlines, and closure outcomes in a shared case workspace.

Overview

Governance cases give teams a case-management layer for AI oversight. Instead of splitting investigations across tickets, spreadsheets, and chat threads, SentinelAI keeps ownership, linked artifacts, deadlines, and closure rationale attached to one case record.

This page is part of the public SentinelAI documentation layer. It is meant to accelerate orientation and evaluation while staying aligned with the product’s governance-focused positioning and messaging guardrails.

Case intake

Cases can start from alerts, findings, assurance issues, release exceptions, or custom governance work so follow-up does not depend on separate tracking patterns for each trigger source.

Linked artifacts and SLA

Teams can connect remediation tasks, alert events, findings, evidence items, and due dates to the same case so accountability and escalation remain visible.

  • Assign work to users or roles without losing the original trigger context.
  • Track SLA policies and overdue posture for governance issues that need timely escalation.
  • Preserve the connected artifacts that explain why the case exists in the first place.

Closure discipline

Root-cause notes, internal comments, and closure outcomes help future reviewers understand what was resolved and why the governance team considered the case complete.
